Projects I’m involved with and areas of interest:

• Building and leading Prime Intellect: Commoditizing compute and AI models to advance scientific progress and build open-source AGI. Join us. Ping me if you are looking for compute or want to join an open-source AGI effort.

Contributor (part time)

• Co-initiated bio.xyz in 2022, a decentralized science protocol for internet-native science and communities that fund and advance scientific research, including women’s health, psychedelics, syn bio, and cryo. Advising them part-time now.
• Co-initiated CryoDAO and raised ~$3m to advance research for reversible cryopreservation of the brain and other organs in 2023. (science and projects).
• Initiated and led the Longevity Prize, raised $300k+ and composed of different prizes (hypothesis, C. elegans lifespan extension, biomarkers, funding innovation) in 2022.
• Co-initiated VitaDAO in 2021 and supporting it, a collective funding and incubating longevity research.

Past

• Helped create a pop-up city called Zuzalu in 2023, to welcome individuals from various communities, including Ethereum, AI, longevity research, decentralized science, public goods, and other related fields. (Why I Built Zuzalu by Vitalik Buterin). It created an offspring of awesome pop-up cities.
• Led ecosystem and AI at Molecule, a platform to fund science, and co-initiated bio.xyz, an accelerator for internet-native scientific communities that fund and advance scientific research, including women’s health, psychedelics, syn bio, and cryo.
• Initiated the Longevity Fellowship within VitaDAO (fast grants to accelerate longevity talent).
• Helped fundraise ~$3m in donations for longevity research, climate efforts, and open and decentralized science through quadratic donations with Gitcoin, VitaDAO, and others in 2021.
• Participated in the Longevity Biotech Fellowship Program in 2021.
• Contributed to building dex.blue, a decentralized Ethereum exchange, 2018-2019.
• Worked on an idea for a health insurance startup in 2018.
• Wrote and built existentialrisk.info in 2018.
• Studied software engineering, machine learning, product, design, and science and tech studies at CODE University for ~2 years (2017-2018), building full-stack web apps, robots from scratch, machine learning time series predictions, and large stock data analysis pipelines. Other highlights included having the Meta AI team teach us for a week on AI and LLMs in 2018. Dropped out to pursue startups.
• Researched key technologies of the future, landed on AI, bio/longevity, fusion, and nanotech. (translated doc, original German doc, presentation), 2014.
• In my teens, I built a bunch of websites, interned at startups, and taught myself design, web development, and investing
